I had a few minor gripes here and there (like how is everyone, even the non-metahumans, so good at falling so far so frequently without getting at all hurt?), but it was a fun film. Finally getting to see Black Panther was awesome. Also, I felt like a decent amount of this film was left sitting on the cutting room floor, despite the nearly 2.5 hour running time.
Honestly, I had a hard time with Hawkeye. I felt that he wasn't nearly as endearing as he was in previous films; quite the opposite, really. I could at least sort of understand everyone else's positions, even if I didn't agree with them, but I really just wanted Hawkeye to go away every time he opened his mouth. His whiny speech in The Raft about what a victim he was made me hope he would stay in that cell for the next couple of films.
Anyway, thank you, Glenn. I always enjoy reading your enthusiastic insights into comics-related subjects.Jeffrey Millimanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09815530577783360229noreply@blogger.com
